Garden Gnomad is a dialogic and documentary art project about urban agriculture. It is currently under development by Vancouver-based artist Lois Klassen as part of the Liminal Screen Residency at the Banff New Media Institute at the Banff Centre (March, 2009). In action, Garden Gnomad will be Lois Klassen's contribution to MOPARRC (Means of Production Artists' Raw Resource Collective) at the MOP Community Garden in Vancouver, BC. Garden Gnomad is a mobile documentation machine that will visit gardens and sites of urban agriculture in the spring and summer of 2009.
